The welder is a classic piece of workwear, firmly in the key of Drake’s.

Modelled on our classic five-pocket chore, this jacket is built in a 12.5oz Japanese cotton canvas, with reinforced pockets and panelling, tonal triple-needle stitching, and sturdy brass hardware throughout. A corduroy collar and checked cotton lining, drawn from our shirting archive, offer refined touches that elevate it beyond the workshop.

With a broad, stiff collar and a simple, straight shape, it is a beautiful example of when form and function meet.
