Stone Wash Selvedge Denim Field Shirt

The overshirt, shirt-jacket, or ‘shacket,’ if you like, has roots in both workwear and military dress, evolving into the adaptable staple we know today.

This version takes its cues from mid-century field jackets, with twin chest pockets, and a straight, boxy shape, and is cut from one of our most-loved denims, woven and dyed in an historic Japanese mill. A blend of cotton and linen, it has a dry handle and an easy lightness that makes it particularly well-suited to the warmer months. The lightweight selvedge cloth is dyed in a rich shade of indigo that reveals increasing depth and character with wear.
