Indigo Denim Lined Chore Jacket

A cornerstone of workwear, reinterpreted through the Drake’s lens. The chore jacket has long been prized for its simplicity and versatility, and this iteration, cut from a 13.7oz Japanese denim woven on shuttle looms in Okayama, pays tribute to those origins. Naturally dyed and washed for a broken-in handle, the cloth has a richness of tone that will only improve with wear.

Retaining the generous, slightly boxy proportions of early twentieth-century examples, this jacket is built with utility in mind. Three outer pockets and two inside provide ample carrying space, while a checked Japanese cotton lining, taken from our shirting archive, adds a touch of comfort to an otherwise utilitarian staple.
