Maison Bengal, founded by Sheenagh Day in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a fair-trade social enterprise born from her work with a UN-affiliated health organisation in the 2000s. Struck by the country's rich tradition of weaving and basket-making, she partnered with three NGOs focused on poverty alleviation through handicraft training—laying the foundation for Maison Bengal's mission and collaborations.
PLACING YOUR ORDER
When your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email along with a separate email containing your invoice.
Please allow up to two working days for your order to be dispatched.
Once your order has been marked as shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to track your order.
Only orders marked as “shipped” by the shipping carrier can be tracked.
If your shipping confirmation email does not include details for your entire order, this means that some items are shipping from outside our warehouse. You will receive a further shipment confirmation once those items have been processed.
Once an order has been placed, we’re unable to make any changes or cancellations. Should you need urgent assistance, please get in touch with our customer service team, who’ll be happy to help where possible.
Please note that we are unable to accommodate requests to delay dispatch or hold orders for a later delivery date
Recent changes to U.S. import rules mean that, for some higher-value orders, customers may be asked to provide extra information, such as a Social Security Number, to ensure smooth customs clearance.

To ensure your gifts arrive in time for Christmas, please place your orders by 16th December by 12 pm.
Orders placed after these cut-off times may not reach you by 25th December. We recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment.
