A familiar Drake's accessory, reworked in collaboration with BEAMS F to celebrate the Japanese institution's 50th anniversary.

This six-panel cap is made from a fine cotton corduroy, with a soft crown and a gently curved peak, it has a relaxed silhouette which brings to mind an earlier era of athletic clothing.

The cloth will fade and evolve beautifully over time, developing a soft, lived-in character unique to the wearer. Unstructured and garment-washed for a relaxed shape, with tonal stitching and an adjustable strap for a clean, minimal finish.

We’ve always had a soft spot for the way Japan approaches menswear. There’s a particular attention to detail, a respect for tradition and, importantly, a willingness to make things its own. BEAMS has been doing just that for 50 years.

To celebrate the anniversary, we’ve worked with BEAMS F on a small collection that brings some of our favourite Drake’s pieces into conversation with their distinctly Japanese take on classic menswear. It’s less about looking backwards than seeing what happens when two long-standing appreciators of the same clothes approach them from different sides of the world.
