Our Handmade Sunglasses, Sported by Tobias Menzies

We bring back our rounded and panto style sunglasses, and introduce a brand new '70s-inspired soft square shape. As before, they are handmade in Northern Italy from the highest quality acetate. Wearing them for us is the inimitable Tobias Menzies.
A good pair of sunglasses not only filters how you see the world, but also how the world sees you. Eyewear is particularly evocative, suggestive, transformative, because it sits right there on your face, unlike other accessories. Hard to miss.
And it's surprising the effect a pair of sunglasses can have. A classic panto shape suggests subtle sophistication, while a bold, rounded style introduces a hint of eccentricity. Here, we reintroduce two styles we first debuted a little while back (the Blake and the Jules), and add a third.
The Menzies (named for the man doing a very fine job of showing them off, here) is a rounded square shape, inspired by vintage eyewear from the ‘70s. A little bit louche, but with a certain sense of elegance, too. They’re refined in their styling, but push the envelope just slightly. A snappy pair of shades, we think you’ll agree.
It’s worth noting here that purchasing a pair of our sunglasses won’t necessarily grant you the steely intensity and inscrutable appeal of one of our finest stage and screen actors. But – remember what we said earlier, eyewear can be transformative – they might make you feel a little bit like an actor. Can you put a price on that?
