Drake's Jersey: Mock Collars & Rugbies

It's no secret that we have a fondness for rugby shirts. We've brought them back once again, cut from a dense cotton jersey, knitted in England. As well as these tried and true staples, we have something a little bit unusual: striped mock collar tops, cut from the same rich jersey.

We found a mill in the north of England that knits the most exquisite cotton jersey, and that was the starting point for both of these garments. We worked with them to develop a substantial 320g fabric with big, bold, vintage-inspired stripes. Making a rugby shirt was the obvious decision, but we had another idea, too. Something a bit more unusual, our new Mock Collar Long-Sleeve T-Shirt is a playful bit of casualwear that sits somewhere between a polo, a rugby, and a t-shirt. It has a sewn-on mock collar, and a stepped hem. It goes nicely with almost anything, and will wear in beautifully, in much the same way as our rugby shirts.
