Each pair of Edward Green shoes is cut and made by hand in their Northampton workshop using methods perfected over the course of more than a century, including this exclusive style for Drake's.
Perhaps Edward Green's longest standing loafer, the Harrow is an iconic design, favoured by King George V and synonymous with regal elegance ever since.
With a gently rounded toe shape modelled on the 110 last, the Harrow features a traditional saddle and hand sewn split toe - providing a contemporary silhouette and a distinguished feel.
Constructed from the finest Italian suede, using unsplit skins to ensure natural shape retention, a wooden shank is in place of the usual metal, which can be prone to warping (and setting off metal detectors).
The shoes are full of considered details, such as the skin-stitched "pie crust" apron - carefully sewn by hand with a boar's bristle, a technique that demands paramount craftsmanship and something that can only be accomplished by expert artisans.
